Kedarnath Temple: Kedarnath town is located in the Garhwal Himalayan foothills, one of India's most important temple destinations. The Town, based on the temple of the revered Kedarnath, is situated at an altitude of 3580 meters near the Chorabari glacier, the source of the Mandakini River. Shiva's Town is dedicated to him. The beautiful temple is built from huge slabs of grey stone. Inside the temple, a cone-like stone is placed that is assigned to the form Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form. The Kedarnath temple is included in the Char Dham pilgrim circuit and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India. Behind the Kedarnath shrine stands the Kedarnath summit, Kedar Dome, and other Himalayan peaks. The name of this place comes from Hindu mythology. Pandavs, after defeating the Kauravas, are guilty over killed people and seeking the god Shiva's redemption.
