Day 01 : Haridwar - Barkot (210kms/7-8hr) HT : 1352 MTS. Via Mussoorie. O/N stay in Barkot.
You can start comfortably after having breakfast and early morning bathing in Ganga. Usually, from Haridwar to Barkot takes 07 hrs comfortably, with a short break at Kampty fall if preferred; otherwise, with a non-stop stretch, we can reach in 06 Hrs. Usually, in peak season time, there is a heavy rush in Mussoorie, so sometimes we can divert the route to Barkot via Vikas Nagar. In this case, Kempty fall sight-seeing can be discarded under the last-moment decision. Upon reaching Barkot, we will have dinner and retire for the day & Night Halt.

Day 02: Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot-Uttarkashi
(142 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side:-O/N stay in Uttarkashi
Early Morning leave for Jankichatti via Hanuman Chatti & Phool Chatti. On arrival, Janki Chatti starts a Trek of 05 km for Yamunotri. Upon reach at Yamunotri Dham, experience Holi Dip in Garam (Tapt)Kund and then Pooja and Darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji; after Darshan and Pooja, the afternoon starts the trek back to Janki Chatti. On arrival, Janki Chatti met with the driver and drove back to Uttarkashi via Barkot. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Hanuman Chatti: The confluence of Hanuman Ganga & Yamuna River. Yamunotri Temple: Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present Century and rebuilt again. Kund: There are several thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flow into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila: A rock pillar worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple. Day 03: Uttarkashi – Ganganani- Gangotri – Harsil – Uttarkashi (200Kms / 05 hrs) round trip.
O/N Stay in Uttarkashi.
Leave for Gangotri early in the morning with packed breakfast & post Tea/ Coffee. Offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi, en route visit Gangnani. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Gangotri:
Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga and is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great Deva Yagna here to tone the death of their relatives in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.
Gangnani: Further up on the way to Gangotri is the hot water spring at Gangnani, where one can have a refreshing bath in the kund called Rishikund. There is a temple near the kund dedicated to the Sage Parashar, believed to be the father of Ved Vyas. Ritual and Activities: Perform Snan at Gangotri Ghat (VIP Ghat), Ganga Pujan & Aarti at Gangotri Ghat, Darshan of Bhagirath Shila, Darshan of Gauri Ganesha Temple, Finally Gangotri Temple Darshan after that you must have Darshan of Surya Kund. While returning Darshan of Gupteshwar Mahadev temple in Dharali, Interact with Tibetan Culture and people in Harsil. Day 04: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi-Sitapur (290 km/ 8-9 hrs). O/N Stay in Sitapur:
Leave early in the morning with a packed breakfast for an almost day-long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. You would pass through Ganga to Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project) on your drive. Overnight stay in the Hotel at Sitapur/Guptkashi. This stretch is the most extended road travel in between the places of the entire Chardham Yatra destinations. Sometimes it takes more than 10hrs if some traffic congestion is there. Upon reaching Sitapur/Rampur/Guptkashi, we will take a rest. Night stay in Hotel.

View Of Tehri Dam (It’s a day-long journey, so other possibilities are less in this time frame) Now the trekking to Kedarnath Ji has been increased by 05 Km and visitors will be recommended to make night stay in case of trekking. We would advise those are not physically strong to cover this trek on feet, they should hire some assistance like Pony or Pithus to complete the Yatra without any hassle or complication. Rituals & Activities: Visit Gauri Kund, Darshan of Kedarnath Ji Temple, Bhima Shila and Chance to meet Gurus and Sadhus meditating for long time in Kedarnath.
Day 05: Sitapur –Phata/Sirsi – Kedarnath –Phata-Sitapur -O/N Stay in Sitapur
Here is the day you are preparing for the Chardham Yatra's most wanted and challenging part, "The Darshan of Shre Kedarnath Ji". You opt for Ex Haridwar 08 Days -Chardham -Yatra-2019 -Only Possible With Kedarnath Yatra by only Confirmed Helicopter Services. Pilgrims are flying/opting for helicopter services to Shri Kedarnath Ji: -
Pilgrims are confined to fly and made their Confirmed reservation in advance for helicopter tickets for Shri Kedarnath Ji can return the same day to Sitapur or Phata base after having Darshan. It depends on their helicopter service conditions and last-moment availability according to operational capacity or restraints. Or you can prefer to stay in Kedarnath Ji in Govt provided camps, huts, or private accommodation available there. We can arrange a stay in our recommended guest houses which are comfortable and near the temple. If, at the last moment any delays due to weather or any technical reason, we can stay in Kedarnath Ji in Govt. provided tents/camps or available guest houses in Kedarnath Ji. The equipped accommodation is good and managed with hot water facilities for devotees. The stay in Kedarnath Ji is fantastic and wonderful for devotees in the evening when they get a chance to see evening Aarti and Rudra Abhishekam of Lord Shiva. The Kedarnath region is unpredictable regarding weather turbulence in trekking or flying. Even technical snags or operation restraints in flying sometimes become the primary reason for the delay in completing the Journey of Kedarnath Ji. There are also unforeseen reasons; further, it can disturb your schedule if you are fixed with your other pre-reserved program. So we should always choose or opt for a buffer day in hand to stay in this region (03 Nights in Sitapur / Rampur / Phata/ Guptkashi, Including a night in Kedarnath ji in case or optional). Please don’t prefer any hectic program or itinerary suggested by any agent recommending only 02 nights in Sitapur or Kedarnath Ji Sector. Day 06: Sitapur-Chopta- Pandukeshwar-Badrinath -220 km / 07-08 hrs). O/N Stay Badrinath -
If Kedarnath Darshan is completed on Day 05 Or Day 06 Morning, then we feel comfortable to proceed. After a normal and comfortable wake-up and breakfast, we will proceed to Badrinath Ji Via Chopta-Pipalkoti-Joshimath-Govindghat. The road from Guptkashi to Chopta and then to Pipalkoti is suitable for small vehicles; the road from Pipalkoti to Joshimath is better. We will reach Badrinath in the evening and night stay in Shree Badrinath. If we arrive on time, we can make a short visit to the temple to participate in the evening Aarti. Normally you canot hold your mind or resist visiting the temple or Darshanam of Shree Badrinath Ji (Moksha Dham) upon reaching there. Overnight stay flowed by dinner. Day 07: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag - (140 kms/06hr). O/N Stay in Rudraprayag:-
This is a day to complete your pending rituals and karmas. At this Moksha Dham, your quest for salvation will be completed. So this is how this program is designed to give you maximum time on this land. The next day we are staying in Rudraprayag, only a 05 hrs drive from Badrinath. So will have half day almost to complete our rituals and Darshan. Late Morning by a maximum of Noon, proceeds to Rudraprayag. On the way, have an en-route view of the fantastic Chopta & Himalayan Ranges. En route, we will have sight of 03 major Prayags (Confluence of Holy rivers) by visiting Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag, where Vishnuprayag (where two rivers confluences Dhauli Ganga & Alaknanda), Karnprayag (confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda), Nandprayag (confluence of river Nandakini and Alaknanda River).
Early Morning takes a holy dip in Tapt Kund, Have Darshan of Badri Vishal again if time allows; otherwise Important visit to Nag Nagin Pith (One of the important place in India for Sarp kal Dosh Nivaran), a Short Visit to Mana Village (Vyas Cave, Ganesha Cave, Keshav Prayag, Darshan of Saraswati Udgam (origin) ), Charan Paduka Darshan, Short visit of Ekadasi Gufa & hanuman Gufa. View of Vishnu Prayag, Nandprayag, and Karnprayag while returning to Rudraprayag.

Badrinath:
Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once, the spot was carpeted with 'badris' or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend had it that when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity, the earth could withstand the force of its descent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.
Narad Kund: A recess in the river near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered
Brahama Kapal: It is a flat platform a few yards north of the temple and on the bank of river Alaknanda. It is crucial for the shradh ceremony or offering of pins to ensure a heavenly place for dead ancestors or manes. It is said that by offering pind here, the hairs are permanently enshrined in heaven, and no more pinds will ever be done elsewhere. Legends have it that when Shiva chopped off the fifth head of Brahma, it got stuck to his trident. Lastly, with the blessing of Lord Vishnu at Badrivan, the head of Brahma fell from the trident at this place & hence the name Brahma-Kapal (head).
Sheshnetra is a large block of stone between two small seasonal lakes carrying an eye of "Sheshnag" The eye formation is quite natural, 1.5 km. Away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag's eye; it is believed that the sesh nag waits at this place patiently to accompany the lord on his reincarnation.
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. The women of the village offer Choli to the deity on the closing day of the temple each year.
Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
Day 08: Rudraprayag- Devprayag –Rishikesh-Haridwar –(140 km/05hr) .S/S Rishikesh. Tour End.
Early morning after breakfast, we will briefly visit MahaRudra Temple at Sangam confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini. Here we can have Darshan of Maa Chamunda Devi Shakti Peeth. After that, we will proceed to Rishikesh, and on the way, we will view of 05th and last Parayag
Dev Parayag on this route. Arrive in Rishikesh and you will visit Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula on your own, as this is not motorable. The vehicle will wait for you in the parking. The best way to stay in this part of Rishikesh is to enter Laxman Jhula and exit from Ram Jhula. You can also see many Ghats and temples and beautiful Ashrams. Rishikesh is the next home of Sadhus & Saints. It is also called the Capital land of Yoga. You must keep watch on time if you miss your Ganga Aarti on day 01 upon arrival to Haridwar. So it is in your hand how fast you finish your sightseeing and reach Har-Ki-Pouri, Haridwar, for Ganga Aarti. It generally starts at 06:00 PM in summer and 5:15 PM in winter. Those who have enjoyed day 01 can have the opportunity to enjoy some more time in Rishikesh. The late evening before dinner, reach Haridwar. This is your last day and evening, so you must arrange your bags and pack. Evening you can enjoy shopping in Haridwar and Rishikesh.

Tourism dependants like local driver in ChardhamYatra places in Himalayan Mountain have limited opportunities to earn for their daily livelihood. They are highly dependent on this seasonal business which is hardly come on peak for 30 days. In this limited span of time they need to work hard for their family. So the local drivers associations and other small organizations supported by Uttarakhand Tourism & Travel Association (UKTTA) believes that they should have a nominal charges extra on these kind of excursions which will be a side income other than their fixed daily wageses. So this is also our request being a responsible tourism activist to our pilgrim not to be panic or hesitant or reluctant in giving any nominal amount to these communities. They deserve this being real heroes of this Yatra.
